OK i have black hair. Now my mom is freakinn awsome!!! shes gonna let me color whatever color i want. So like i dont know how i should color it like bleach it and like put any color(what are some colors that would look good??) or should i just bleachsome of my hair? If you know of some pics plz tell me the site

I wouldn't bleach it, just straight dye it. It's better for your hair.

So, not pink, as that can fade and go a weird yellowy colour.

I'm planning on doing mine green, which would be kinda cool with the black, or red/blue would be my opinion.

I would suggest that you don't do your whole hair a colour. Just some streaks though a fringe (if you have one) or some dips.

Try bright red, or coppers,

pastells or light colors will fade fast in black.

Blue is pretty cool too

You could just go to www.google.com and type in Hairstyles and their are different articles that will come up and you can click those and look at some pics for your hair and show your Mom and let her do your hair by going by the pic.

First of all, I hate emo hair or anything emo for that matter. But if you're just talking about hair colour, it's best to just go with what you really, really like. But if you aren't good at maintaining your hair or haircolour, don't dye your whole head 1 colour because it'll start to look rather cheap when the roots start growing; go for streaks instead.

Usually only the brown shades would show on black hair if you just dye without bleaching. Trust me, I've tried dyeing my hair purple without bleaching and it wasn't obvious even under sunlight. Bleaching will damage the hair but if it's just 1 round of bleaching it should be fine.

Also, if you're gonna DIY, make sure you use a good brand of hair dye. For crazy colour, I'd suggest Special Effects; it doesn't fade quickly like Fudge. But if you're not doing something so drastic then L'oreal sounds good; it doesn't damage the hair a lot. But most importantly, make sure you do your research first.
